Sundowns coasted to a win with goals from Lerato Chabangu and Luvhengo Mungomeni. The result steers The Brazilians closer to a top eight berth, but time is against the current PSL champions as far as a title challenge goes. The result leaves Royals perched dangerously just above the drop zone.

Wits 1-2 Platinum Stars

Former Santos coach Roger de Sa and his men throw away a first half lead to waste a good chance to make up ground on the PSL front runners. The Clever Boys go in front through a goal from Pepe De Jesus inside a minute, but the score-line is levelled early in the second half through Tsepo Ramokala. Ramokala then nets his brace to seal the win for Stars seven minutes from time. The result leaves Wits five points adrift of Santos and unlikely to make a late charge for the title.
