Bishops clinic a great success

23 May 2008

Santos FC had an enjoyable and successful first introduction to the coaching programme at top Cape Town school, Bishops, in Rondebosch at lunch-time today.

The excercise, as part of the club's development initiatives, was organised by main sponsors Engen, and the 70 Grade R kids had fun and enjoyed the coaching put on by the development coaches of Santos, led by head of youth development Duncan Crowie.

Many of the PSL players, like captain Musa Otieno, Eleazar Rodgers, Wayne Arendse and Bevan Fransch, among others, also got involved in the session.

"Thanks a lot," said one of the Grade R teachers, Carmen Williams. "The kids really enjoyed the session and we appreciate you coming to our school."

The programme at Bishops will continue next Friday.
