A week from now and we will be all pumped up and eager to go as the Santos FC Players and Technical staff return to base, to kick-start the Major’s (head coach David Bright) first full pre-season training programme with the People's Team.

On Wednesday, 18 June 2008, everyone is expected to report as we re-group after a well deserved 3 ½ week break, with the omission of two or three players who will only return a week later from their busy National team schedules.

This is normally the usual time when you hear of all the transfer possibilities, club’s releasing players or putting them on transfer and most likely the movement of coaches and restructuring at the various clubs. For me there is not much to say with regards to the latter as we are just continuing where we left off and will focus on our shortfalls and try to improve on our preparation for the 2008/09 season.
