With all youth games postponed because of the stormy Cape Town weather, Santos FC were nevertheless done proud by a clinical performance from the Ladies team.
And our Player of the Week, Kaashiefa Field, proved to be the stand-out performer in that particular match.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kaashiefa was selected as the “Player of the Week” after a fine performance for the Santos FC Development Ladies side in their 3-1 thrashing of Dangerous Heroes over the weekend.
According to the development ladies coach, Shehnaaz Alexander, Field excelled in the following areas:
Kaashiefa is a central defender. Her anticipation of the ball was very good, and she read the game well. She is a very strong player.
