“As we are approaching Christmas, I take this opportunity to wish all our Engen Santos Players, Staff, Supporters, Families & Friends a Merry Xmas, a safe Festive season and a Prosperous 2009.

“We played our final Absa Premiership match against the defending champions Supersport in Pretoria, on Saturday past, before the PSL League went into recess for the Christmas break and what a result!!!

”I must once again congratulate the Technical team and especially the players for the very positive and important result. It was a really fine team performance blended with some individual brilliance in very tough, hot and humid conditions.

“The previous season after 13 games we had 16 points and currently with the same number of games we are in position no. 5 on the log with 21 points. So I hope when we resume the League in the New Year, we can carry on with the same consistency and positive results.

What a way to start the New Year, on Wednesday the 7th January 2009, we will resume our title chase in the only PSL Cape Town Derby vs Ajax Cape Town at Athlone Stadium at 19h30.
