Coach Keith America had the following to say about Zaahid:

“Zaahid is a prolific goal scorer and capitalizes on every opportunity he gets. Even though he is a good and strong runner with the ball, he can still improve on his decision making. He is a joy to coach and is very coachable! I have therefore appointed Zaahid as captain for 2009, because he leads by example.”

Zaahid had the following to say:

“I feel very happy being selected as the top goal scorer of the tournament. Once again I just played whole heartedly.

" My Coach, Keith America is the reason for my consistent goal scoring. He motivates me all the time and encourages me to do my utmost best.

I would like to play professional soccer overseas and to make my parents proud one day, by playing for the Santos PSL Team. My biggest dream is to score a lot of goals and to become the most wanted striker in the world.”
