On Sunday, 24th May 2009, the Santos U/17 team, competed in two matches at the exciting Cape Fish Tournament. They have beaten Morgen Ster 1-0 and ended the day with 7 victorious goals to 0 against Goal Fighters.
A very proud Coach Duncan Crowie, had the following to say:
“The guys started the tournament a bit uneasy, but eventually got into the swing of things the second game around. They succeeded with a tremendous 7 goals in a 25 minute aside match. The team has qualified to the knockout stages, with one more remaining game left in their group.”
Coach Crowie believes that proper preparation is the only way for them to end up victorious.
