A Successful Day for all sport fans

The Pick n Pay Newlands Challenge between the Nashua Cape Cobras and the Vodacom Stormers was held on Sunday, January 17, 2010.

Santos football stars, together with Ajax Cape Town meet their fans, whereafter they conducted coaching clinics between the two innings of the Nashua Cape Cobras and the Vodacom Stormers’ encounter.The 20-overs showdown between the cricket and rugby contenders ended up in a well deserved draw.

Youngsters were also given the opportunity to get in contact with their favourite sporting heroes, by getting their autographs signed and pictures taken.

It was a wonderful celebration to have the Mother City's three professional sporting codes-soccer, rugby and cricket-come together with their fans, enjoying a fun-filled, entertaining day.
