Boebie Promises Maximum Effort For Final PSL Home Fixture

23 February 2010

Santos coach Boebie Solomons has ensured fans of the Peoples’ Team that his side will be giving 110% against AmaZulu on Wednesday night.

The match takes place at the Athlone Stadium and kicks off at 19H30.

The Cape side are of course chasing third spot in the Absa Premiership standings, but according to Solomons, the focus will also be on putting up a good performance as a means of appreciation for the support the team has received this season, both at Athlone and in Stellenbosch.

“This is our last home league game for the current season and we want to ensure that we perform to the best of our abilities in order to say THANK YOU to our supporters who gave us such great support and loyal encouragement throughout the season.

“The team will give a positive performance in order to ensure that we achieve maximum points from this game.

“Neil Tovey is a good coach and although we expect a tough game, we are sure we will end the league season in Cape Town on a HIGH!” says Solomons.

Following the clash with Usuthu, Santos wind up their league campaign with an away fixture against Maritzburg United.

After that, fans are in for nearly two months of exciting Cup action!
