Santos face AmaKhosi in Telkom Knockout Cup

The Peoples' Team have been handed a thrilling draw, having been paired against Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs in the first round of the Telkom Knockout Cup, with the game set to take place in the Cape.

While it will be a tough match for the Santos players, Chiefs' big-name status will ensure a capacity crowd down in the Cape and this should be a cracker of a cup tie.

Dates have already been scheduled for both tournaments, with the Telkom competition starting on March 13. All 16 PSL teams will be involved in this contest.

The last-16 phase is scheduled for March 13, 14, 20 and 21. The last-eight will then take place on the weekend of March 26. The semifinals will happen on either the last weekend of March or the first weekend in April.

The final is scheduled for April 10.
